In a glittering award ceremony like Emmys, lot of things happen but the cameras generally don't manage to capture it all. The Emmy Awards 2010 winners expressed their happiness and contentment in different ways, some of which were highlighted by the camera while some went unnoticed.
So, for the sake of all TV lovers, lemme here present all those remarkable moments.
Although a time-limit was defined for Emmy speeches, according to which no star was permitted to continue his speech for more than 40 seconds, but it seemed that Al Pacino got so overwhelmed with his emotions that he exceeded the allotted time and even didn’t pay attention to “Please Wrap it Up” that flashed in the background.
Well, this excitement was obvious. All those, who made a place for themselves in Emmy nominations, were holding their breaths for the announcement of results. And obviously, once you get to know that you have actually won it, it become difficult to keep check on your pleasure.
Now, moving on to some other moments like this, lemme shed some light on Tom Hanks’s triumph in Emmys. When he received an award for his drama, “The Pacific”, he became so euphoric that after finishing the speech, he headed to leave the stage, without collecting the honorable trophy. When he was about to leave the hall, somebody reminded him of that.
Well Tom, we understand your exhilaration and we really appreciate you for your hard work and determination that you put into your work.
Well, it’s not only about Tom; I wanna congratulate all Emmy Awards 2010 winners on their success and incredible achievement.
Now moving away from celebrities, lemme elucidate what was going on in that award function, when you were watching commercials at home.
Guys, when you were enjoying your home-baked chips, the audience present in the Nokia Theater was provided with a treat of humorous and pleasing last year speeches. These classic clips made the overall ambiance so refreshing that those people broke into mad fits of laughter.
Out of all these fun moments, the most interesting was Jim Parsons’, who made no delay in collecting his real Emmy backstage, just after being awarded with the one he received in front of camera. He actually proved that stars, who manage to turn their Emmy nominations into success, can’t stay deprived of their trophies for too long.
So, with Jim’s desperation, I wrap-up behind-the-camera moments of Emmy awards 2010.
