‘Wizards of Waverly Place’ is a perfect blend of teen fantasy and sitcom. The show focuses on a wizardly family constituting Jerry Russo and Theresa Russo, the parents and Alex, Justin and Max, the three children. It’s a Todd J. Greenwald creation, which depicts the struggle among the children in order to win the complete powers of the family and become the best wizard. Since, the series’ premiere, it has obtained positive reviews. Moreover, it has also led to the development of a film.

As far as its seasons are concerned, Wizards of Waverly Place season 1 premiered on October 12, 2007. It focuses on the family and their extraordinary magical powers in day-to-day lives. Taking the time back, putting Alex inside the mirror, changing things are its major attractions. In addition to that, the use of powers by children, which mostly go wrong, constitutes to its funny element.

Similarly, season 2 of the show commenced on September 12, 2008. The opening sequence is very much identical to the firsts, but there is a difference in the plot. Alex develops feelings for Dean. In the meantime, Justin starts feeling for Juliet. The plot develops with other sub-plots embedded in the episodes.
