The electrifying co-creation of Jane Espenson and D. Brent Mote, Warehouse 13 marked its appearance on Syfy on July 7, 2009. The show is centered on two secret service agents, who are ordered to take duties at Warehouse 13, a secret spot, housing paranormal stuff. The warehouse is situated in a vegetation-devoid location in South Dakota. When Myka Bering (Joanne Kelly) and Peter Lattimer (Eddie McClintock) are entrusted with this bizarre task, they take it negatively. However, when they get absorbed in recovering the lost objects and try to gather information on the new ones, they become aware of the importance of their services. Peter’s major asset is his ability to think quickly. His working style can be described as ‘beyond the rules.’ On the other hand, Myka is more methodical and exhibits the skill to explore details more precisely. Another advantage available to Myka is her enhanced memory. Various actors adding a punch of entertainment to the show’s uniquely-engineered storyline are Joanne Kelly, Eddie McClintock, Genelle Williams, Simon Reynolds, Allison Scagliotti and Aaron Ashmore. Speaking of the stuff stored in the warehouse, it has a link with some real or mythological figure from the past. It includes Lewis Caroll’s looking glass, which opens the door towards ‘somewhere’ and Poe’s pen, which transforms the words into reality. When these objects come into contact with electricity, they suddenly become activated. Then a special procedure has to be followed to neutralize them. Peter and Myka use this special methodology, every time they recover a missing object. Warehouse 13 can be viewed for the refreshing distinctiveness that it brings to a simple storyline. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
