Charlie Harper (Charlie Sheen) lives a lavish, carefree life and knows nothing about responsibility. His life goes topsy-turvy when his brother Alan Harper (Jon Cryer), moves in with his son, Jake (Angus T. Jones), after divorcing his wife. Two and a Half Men built a magnificent TV series on the premise of the life of the trio and managed to entertain viewers for eight years, and the best thing is: it continues to do so. Charlie Harper and his lifestyle take a serious hit with Alan and Jake's arrival. Initially perplexed, Charlie develops a liking for Jake, gaining his trust. Jake falls for Charlie's different style of parenting compared to his father, Alan. Charlie composes jingles and music. He had several love affairs and short-lived relationships. He never once got married. Charlie got engaged to Chelsea (Jennifer Taylor) in season seven but it turned out to be a passing affair. Charlie was dabbed in another relationship with a new girlfriend, Melissa, whose interest drifted towards his brother Alan. Alan, on the other hand, loves his ex-wife Judith (Marin Hinkle) and tries to woo her back. Nevertheless, he believes that the marriage is over. Like Charlie, he tried to settle with various women but failed to stay with any one of them for long. He loves Jake, and thinks that Charlie cannot be a good father. Yet, he cannot keep Jake away from Charlie as he settles down with Jake at Charlie’s beach-house. In spite of having several dissimilarities, the two brothers share the annoyance towards their mother. Evelyn Harper carries a very conceited and dominating behavior that both her son dislike. The show's tactful writing and brilliant acting performance envelops the whole series into one hilarious sitcom. Two and a Half Men has been running since September 2003, and the fabulous acting by its lead stars has assured that it never sees a decline in its popularity. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
