She needs to tackle the situation of being a single mother and that too, at an adolescent age. She balances her school life, as well as her motherhood. In addition to that, she encounters that her family and friends change their approach towards her. Overall, she shoulders new responsibilities.

Similarly, The Secret Life of the American Teenager season 3 commenced on June 7, 2010, revolving around Amy and her friends. Adrian reveals that she isn’t pregnant. Moreover, Ben starts avoiding her. Ricky also faces crisis in his relation with Cindy. In the end, Ricky and Amy get together. Ben and Adrian finally learn that they are going to have a girl child.

As far as the actors are concerned, Shailene Woodley plays the role of Amy Juergens. She is the protagonist in the show. The character of Ricky Underwood is executed by Daren Kagasoff. Adrian Lee’s character is played by Francia Raisa. India Eisley portrays Amy’s younger sister, Ashley Juergens.
