From the streets of Point Place, Wisconsin, set during the wayward 70s, is the story of group of friends and the things they used to back ‘then’. Indeed, it is That 70s Show we’re talking about. The story of Eric Forman (Topher Grace), his friends Steve (Danny Masterson), Kelso (Ashton Kutcher), Jackie (Mila Kunis), Fez (Wilmer Valderrama); his girlfriend Donna (Laura Prepon); and his parents, Red (Kurtwood Smith) & Kitty Forman (Debra Jo Rupp) takes you back to the hippie era.

The show revolves around the basement in Eric’s house. The basement is to the gang, what Central Perk is to Friends. Eric and his friends gather at the basement and almost every time, all their pranks are hatched in the basement. And the famed ‘Circle’, where they would sit and talk and allegedly get high, is also the basement.

The highlight of the show are: the relationship between the strict, disciplinarian Red and his rebellious son Eric; Kelso and Jackie’s on-off relationship; and Fez’s search for love.

Everyone has their own reason for liking That 70s Show. In a nutshell, Season 1 is like an elongated introduction to the characters. Also, it details the growth of Eric from a scared kid to a rebellious adolescent. His confrontations with his father have acquired a legendary status among its viewers, with Red’s numerous references to running his foot through Eric’s a**, often left the viewers in splits.

Season 2 entailed the changing relationship between Eric and his girlfriend Donna. Their lives go through a multitude of changes as Donna’s father, Bob and his hot wife Midge undergo marital troubles. The chemistry between Eric and Donna provided the perfect comic foil to the often horny Fez, and his lust inspired misadventures.

It would be a travesty to talk about the complete eight seasons of That 70s Show. The hilarious spoofs about everything that happened in the 70s to the more subtle storylines that see the characters evolve over the seasons, the show is nearly perfect.
