The popular television series that premiered on 6th June, 1998,Sex and the City has been inspired from the famous book authored by columnist Candace Bushnell, ‘Sex and the City’. After a very successful six season run, the show culminated on 22nd February, 2004.
So the show is a humorous drama, all about four New York women, all single, one being in her forties and others in their thirties and their completely extraordinary sexual lives, in search of their perfect man and a perfect orgasm. Carrie Bradshaw happens to be a ‘Sexual anthropologist’ and a Newspaper columnist, whose writings’ main theme is Manhattan’s dating circle, filled with love and sex. Her three close friends are, Samantha, a PR woman, Miranda, solicitor by profession and Charlotte, who works at an art gallery. Basically all of them have very varied lifestyles and thinking but still are quite close to each other as they tackle various ups and downs of their lives like cancer, marriages, friendships, love, romance, STDs, etc together.
