Pokémon’s story revolves around a young boy named Ash Ketchum, who upon reaching the tenth year of his life, gets from Professor Oak, his first Pokémon, marking the beginning of his Pokémon Journey. Joining Ash on this journey, are his close friends, Dawn, Max, Tracey, May, Brock and Misty. They go along as a team through different leagues like the Kanto, Johto, Orange, Battle Frontier, Hoenn and Sinnoh.
Ash tries his best to gain every chance to collect a Pokémon, while Tracey moves around sketching Pokémon. Misty looks to train the Watery kind of Pokémon while Brock likes Rock ones and May, who in the beginning was more interested to visit places, than get a Pokémon, later jumps into Pokémon Contests. Dawn journeys to participate in the Pokémon contests, following her mother’s footsteps, who used to compete years ago. Max, however, has no Pokémon, but he does lend a helping hand with the help of PokéNav skills, to navigate the ways of the team, which do get lost at times.
