Kyle XY is about a strange, sixteen year old boy, Kyle, who wakes up to find himself in a forest with a blank memory. He has genius’s brains but lacks some basic human emotions such as love, joy and anger. He is struggling to learn more about his back ground or where he originally belongs to. Another significant but queer fact about him is that he does not have a belly button.
The boy is then taken in by Nicole Trager, a paranormal psychologist who is immediately aware of the crucial and astounding potential that Kyle possesses. Her husband, Stephen Trager, feels that his children Lori Trager and Josh Trager might not get along with Kyle. The family soon realizes that Kyle has some amazing powers, but fails to interpret the reasons behind it.
Throughout the series, Kyle tries his best to lead the life of a normal American teenager, but is inquisitive about his past and is ready to go out of his way to remember his past.
Touchstone has produced this series with executive producers’ team including Eric Bress, J. Mackye Gruber and David Himelfarb and aired on the ABC network from June 26, 2006.
