Weaving an enrapturing amalgamation of humor and drama on screen, Hellcats is a well-crafted television series, centered on the colorful world of cheerleading. Being aired on The CW channel, the show highlights the life of a girl named Marti (Alyson Michalika), who becomes a part of a cheerleading group, with desire to earn a much-needed scholarship.

The members of this group hold on to their hopes, as they go through several ups and downs in their lives. The debut season of the series revolves around the life of Martini, as she makes a desperate attempt at regaining the lost scholarship. As a part of the peppy cheerleading group, she is paired with Lewis Flynn, with Savannah Monroe leading the group towards their goals. This enthusiastic bunch of girls is coached by Vanessa Lodge (Sharon Leal), who has to grapple with a lot of difficulties. To make sure that the cheerleading program remains alive, her girls must win the Nationals.

As the storyline progresses, Marti develops a good rapport with Savannah. Alice, whom Marti replaces to be a part of the group, does not think too well of her, as sparks of conflicts start to fly between them.

While the practice-weathered team keeps on oozing out sweat, Marti develops feelings for Lewis Flynn. However, she does not share her feelings with Lewis or others, as she isn’t sure that whether this is love or something else.
