Based on the theme of supernatural, Haven is a drama which is inspired from a novel called The Colorado Kid. The novel was penned down by none other than the renowned horror maestro, Stephen King. The series gives a glimpse into a story involving the presence of supernatural entities in a way that no other show has ever been able to match. The lead character of Audrey Parker is played by Emily Rose. Audrey is shown as an employee of the FBI, who has been a resident of Ohio in the past. She is shown in the town of Haven as a visitor whose visit is a part of her job, until she comes across a newspaper which contains her photograph, showing her as a suspected murderer! The woman, as Audrey learns later, may probably be her mother or some other relative of hers. She has no certain idea about who the woman is because she has always known herself to be an orphan. Audrey is shown as a person of strong will and is also courageous. The series shows the town of Haven facing a number of problems because of the alleged involvement of ‘The Troubles’, which are believed to be supernatural entities. Audrey forms a close association with the character Nathan, who has also been attacked by The Troubles, rendering him unable to feel anything at all, except for Audrey’s touch. The series is a mysterious tale that has lots of deep-felt emotions embedded in its storyline. The scenes shown in Haven are shot on locations in Canada, which match the town of Haven, as depicted in the story. While Audrey is seen resigning from the job that she had when she came to Haven, she is also seen taking up a job with the Police Department at Haven. | |||||||||||||||||
