Geordie Shore premiered on English grounds, basing itself on the lines of American Jersey Shore. A Production of MTV, it's a reality show that puts people from similar backgrounds together and rests on the success that spews off as a result of their efforts to gel with each other.

Metaphorically speaking, it is like the sound produced by a piggy bank when it is filled with coins of different sizes and rattled.  To annoyance of some and pleasure of some, it has managed to gather widespread fan following via its inviting theme.

The key is that the show intends to bring together people, who represent different walks of life and makes them behave like a family. Hence, you see a wide variety of personalities ranging from people with chiseled bodies (JAY), to people with immense camera attraction (James and Sophie). Also there are people like Holly, who haven’t even crossed their teenage.

Vicky, Charlotte-Letitia, Greg and Gary round up the names of the remaining cast members. Having a running time of 42 minutes, each episode of the season 1 is chockablock with thrill and entertainment. It’s a show about high in masculinity males and scantily-dressed females, and involves some spicy drama, emotional outbursts and complicated relationships.

After the huge success of Jersey Shore, Geordie Shore does not come off as much of a difference in terms of the basic format, but have a look at its cast, and you would be in for a nice amount of surprise.
