Desperate Housewives, the comedy series revolves around the lives of five friends who are neighbors and live on the street of Wisteria Lane. The story is narrated to us, as seen through the eyes of Mary Alice, one of the five friends, who committed suicide in the very beginning of the series. Other four friends are, Susan Mayer, a divorcee, who is living with her teenage daughter and looking for a perfect guy for herself. Then we have Lynette Scavo, who is happily married with four children and finally decides to make a career, after having been a housewife for many years. Next is Bree Van De Kamp, the perfect lady and that is what her husband and children hate about her. This is also the reason her husband has moved away from her, but she still pretends that nothing has changed. Lastly, Gabrielle Solis a successful model married to a rich guy, but is now divorced.
All the four friends constantly find themselves in one or the other problem regarding their love life, personal life and professional life. All their actions are being constantly watched, by their friend and former neighbor Mary Alice.
