CSI: Crime Scene Investigation was launched on 6th October, 2000 on CBS. The show is about a forensics scientists’ team of Las Vegas and their probes into strange and queer crimes and deaths. Anthony E. Zuiker created this show, while Jerry Bruckheimer is the producer. Currently the 9th season of the show is running since 9th October, 2008. Dr. Gill Grissom (William Petersen), was the supervisor of the graveyard shift, of the Crime Scene Investigation, for the initial eight and half seasons. He has been succeeded by, Dr. Raymond Langston (Laurence Fishburne). Dr. Raymond is an ex doctor, who has changed his profession, to avoid the demons from his past, which still haunt him. CSI, over the years has achieved record ratings, in addition to receiving some criticism.
