Bachelor Pad is a competitive reality show on ABC. The show is all about ‘survival of the fittest’ or rather, the ‘wisest’. Unlike other reality shows on television, which are based on a similar format; the show is an omnibus of emotions, drama, and a gamble of love. Bachelor Pad is executively produced by Mike Fleiss, Martin Hilton and Jay Bienstock.

The show runs on a very stupendous format, where eleven women and eight men, fight for victory. They use all means, right from elimination to deception. In this process, these participants, put in their hundred percent, to be still in form for the demanding game. Each person, is supposed to choose a person from the opposite sex and spend time with him or her. As per mutual understanding and strategizing, a couple aims to be on the top and rule the whole space.

Throughout the shoot, these participants live in a mansion. It’s up to them to find out a match for themselves. The females appearing in Bachelor Pad have previously appeared in The Bachelor season 14 and the men have been witnessed in The Bachelorette season 5.

What keeps them going is the incredible prize money. The winning couple is awarded a sum of $250,000. With such a huge amount at stake, the opportunity is one factor that no one present on the show wants to be a captive of.

Another interesting fact that keeps viewers teetering on the edge of their seats is the final turning point of the show. Once a winning couple is declared, they’re supposed to pass through a Prisoner’s Dilemma. It is here that they are given a choice between keeping the prize money or sharing it. If they decide to keep the money, it gets distributed amongst the other participants of the show that have been previously eliminated.

The show is equipped with almost everything that one requires to be at the top of the charts. With lots of drama and tackle, the contestants know best, how to handle pressure and manoeuvre their way through challenging situations.
