‘American Idol’ is America’s most popular running musical reality series. The series premiered in 2002. The series aims at giving America a singer who deserves to be an Idol for the rest of America, in the field of music. And for that they let the whole of America be a part of it. The team conducts auditions in the whole of America, at various places, and from there chose candidates who deserve, and have talent that is worth presenting in-front of the whole of America. Once the team decides upon the final contestants, each week the contestants give live performance to impress the judges and the people of America, who in turn vote for their favorite candidates. Each week one contestant, with least amount of votes is sent home. The process continues until only one contestant is left, who then becomes the American Idol. American Idol has been hot favorite of American People from the past eight years and is currently running into its eighth season. Ryan Seacrest serves as the hosts of the series. Judges panel consists of four judges Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson (II), Paula Abdul and Kara DioGuardi.
