‘Alias’ is an action drama series that aired on ABC from September 30, 2001 to May 22, 2006. The main attraction of the series was Jennifer Garner, who played the main lead in the series. The series was created by J.J. Abrams.
The series revolves around Sydney Bristow, who works as a secret agent for SD-6, a top-secret branch of the CIA. But after the murder of her boyfriend, Sydney comes to know that SD-6 is actually part of a rogue international agency called the Alliance of 12, out to rule the world. She immediately decides to leave the company and starts working with the real CIA to bring down SD-6. Later, she comes to know that even her father is a CIA agent. She then takes help from her father and assistant Michael Vaughn, and together they start working for the betterment of nation by fighting various battles. Besides professional front of Sydney, a lot of light is thrown on her personal life as well.
The series was on air for almost five years and was quite popular. So much so that a video game based on the series was created by Acclaim Entertainment for the PC, PlayStation 2 and Xbox.
